SPIRIT'S EQUINE SERVICE FAQ

  • How long does saddle cleaning take?
    Full saddle cleaning takes 3-4 days, with pricing based on the type of saddle and level of cleaning needed.
  • What should I wear for a riding lesson?
    For minors, closed toed shoes with a heel is required, as well as an approved helmet. You must wear pants or leggings as well. These items can be purchased online or at an equine shop such as Thrifty Horse.
  • What services do you offer?
    I offer horseback riding lessons (English & Western), horse training, caretaking services, and saddle cleaning/restoration.
  • Do I have to send a deposit?
    Yes, deposits are REQUIRED to reserve your time slot. It is applied on a first come first serve basis.
  • How much do lessons cost?
    The average lesson is 45 minutes priced at $65.
  • How do I book a service?
    You can contact me directly to schedule lessons, training, or caretaking services. Deposits of $20 for lessons are required, training and caretaking services DO NOT require deposits.
  • Do I need my own horse?
    No, I provide a well-mannered lesson horse. If you have your own horse, it can be trailered or boarded at the stables and I will offer a discounted fee for lessons.
